Lip Balm

We like to use avocado butter in all things lip related. It has a little bit of natural sunscreen property to it. It comes from squashing the avocado seed. It's a refined product - all white and soft in texture. This ingredients are a little harder to find, but worth the search.

equal parts - so just a teaspoon of each will fill a 1/4 oz jar.

raw shea - unrefined shea (which you can get from www.queenbeesauce.com)

avocado butter

Melt together slowly using a warm water bath so it keeps the vitamins in the raw shea alive. Add a couple drops of either a mint or citrus essential oil or you can add flavors like almond extract etc.

You will want to add a little vegetable glycerin (just a couple drops) and or a little honey to help preserve your balm .

Seal it up tight and let come back to room temp!
